Asteroid Drift

Asteroid Drift puts a fractured moon at the centre of a large back illustration. Skeletal hands hold it from below, while fragments, thorned rings and red stars spread across the black background. The drawing has no lettering or logos.

The artwork

A deep crack splits the cratered moon, with narrow red marks tracing the break. Loose asteroid pieces sit above and around it. Some have the same broken, pitted surface, so the scattered fragments feel like part of the same moon.

Two skeletal hands frame the lower half. Their long fingers point inward, and a rose with layered petals anchors the bottom of the composition. Thorned orbital bands curve behind the moon and across the hands. Pale comet trails cut diagonally through the surrounding space.

Ivory linework, dark shading and fine stippled details give the drawing a tattoo-like character. Small red cracks and sharp star shapes provide contrast without covering the illustration. The design runs vertically down the back, leaving black space around its edges.

How to wear it

Pair it with black jeans for a simple outfit, or use grey trousers to pick up the pale drawing. Keep an outer layer open when you want the back artwork visible. Plain shoes and a small accessory leave the moon and hands as the main detail.
